The 2025 Hyundai Tucson has made its first appearance as a “coming soon” feature on Hyundai’s Korean site.

The current generation Hyundai Tucson debuted in 2020 for the 2022 model year. The seven photos Hyundai released of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson show what amounts to a mid-cycle refresh for Hyundai’s popular compact crossover.

Outside, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson updates are relatively minor. The front sees the most significant changes with a redesigned and simplified grille/headlight treatment that features a more squared-off look. The side appears virtually unchanged, aside from a new wheel design. Hyundai did not release any photos of the rear of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson, but from what can be seen from the side view, there will be very little change there as well. Two new colors, Fine Green Matte and Ultimate Red Metallic, will be offered on the Korean version.

The biggest changes can be found inside, where the 2025 Hyundai Tucson’s interior has had a complete overhaul. Eschewing the old model’s retro-future 80s stereo vibe, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson takes on a more traditional look that falls in neatly with Hyundai’s current interior design. One of the biggest gripes with the current interior is the lack of physical controls. This has been addressed in the 2025 Hyundai Tucson’s interior with the return of knobs and buttons for many of the vehicle’s functions. A new dual-screen panoramic curved display features two 12.3-inch displays for the gauge cluster and center infotainment screen respectively. Other changes include relocated air vents, a new center console, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and the relocation of the shifter from the center console to the steering column.

Powertrain details have not yet been released, but we wouldn’t expect any significant changes, considering this is a mid-cycle refresh.

As with the 2025 Kia K5 update we reported on earlier, this update is only officially for the Korean market. However, we expect the US market version to closely mirror this when it goes on sale in the States.
