Chevrolet has released details on the updated 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban, bringing numerous visual and mechanical updates.

Exterior updates to the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban are relatively subtle, with an updated front featuring a new bumper and revised grille with Silverado-inspired daytime running lights that feature choreographed welcome and goodbye lighting on higher-end trims. Newly available 24-inch wheels, slightly revised taillights, and two new colors, Cypress Gray and Lakeshore Blue Metallic, round out the list of exterior upgrades.

Powertrain options for the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban include a new second-generation 3.0L inline-six Duramax turbo-diesel paired to a 10-speed automatic, which will be offered on all trims and deliver 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque thanks to a returned compressor and new higher-flow fuel injectors. The standard engine for LS, LT, RST, Z71, and Premier trims remains a 5.3L V8, while the High Country will receive a 6.2L V8 as standard (optional on RST, Z71, and Premier trims).

Ride and handling have also seen upgrades, including an updated multi-link rear suspension design for a more refined ride and improved steering calibration for increased driving confidence across various road conditions. GM’s Air Ride adaptive suspension, newly available on the RST, and Magnetic Ride Control will remain optionally available. New towing features will include Boat Ramp Assist, Trailer Navigation that tailors routes based on trailer size, a trailer tire health system to help prevent trailer tire blowouts, and more.

Inside, the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban have seen a much more dramatic update. Echoing the interior of the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Traverse, the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban feature a completely redesigned dash with sleeker styling, upgraded materials including authentic wood decor and soft-touch plastic on upper trims, and new 11-inch instrument cluster and 17.7-inch infotainment screens. Other interior updates include a new steering wheel and new switchgear on the center stack.

The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban will feature interior Motion Detection that uses a new sensor to detect certain kinds of motion inside the vehicle to help identify if a passenger has been left in the rear passenger areas. Optionally, buyers can elect to equip their 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe or 2025 Chevrolet Suburban with a new Connected Cameras feature that employs a network of cameras, allowing customers to view the interior and exterior of their vehicles remotely and can automatically record crash and security events and save them to cloud storage.

The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban will continue to feature Chevy Safety Assist as standard, including numerous active safety systems, including lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and more. The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban will also receive GM’s lauded SuperCruise semi-autonomous driving system as an option.

Pricing details will be revealed at a later date. The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2025 Chevrolet Suburban will go on sale in late 2024.
