In the leadup to a full unveiling of the highly-anticipated 2025 Porsche Macan EV, Porsche has shared a photo of the vehicle’s screen-forward interior.

The photo Porsche shared of the 2025 Porsche Macan EV may elicit feelings of familiarity for those who’ve seen the interior of the recently updated 2024 Porsche Panamera and 2024 Porsche Cayenne. A power button mounted to the left of the steering wheel in true Porsche fashion is joined on the right-hand side by Porsche’s new lever-based shifter.

On the dash, buyers will also find hard buttons mixed with numerous displays, including a 12.6-inch user-configurable digital instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. This screen will be powered by a new Android-based software system that has the ability to begin booting itself up when it detects someone approaching with the key, so there is little to no startup time once a driver has entered the vehicle. This system will feature access to third-party apps such as Amazon Music, YouTube, and Spotify. The 2025 Porsche Macan EV’s infotainment system will also offer users access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. An optional 10.9 touchscreen for the front seat passenger allows them to stream video and more for their riding enjoyment.

Standard is a new ambient lighting system that changes pattern and color to communicate what the vehicle is doing, including charging status, launch control, and will even greet you with a special welcome light show. How thoughtful.

The 2025 Porsche Macan EV will also be the first Porsche to offer a new augmented reality head-up display that uses interactive symbols to provide navigation instructions and more.

We should be finding out much more about the 2025 Porsche Macan EV shortly.
