It’s only been two years since Mercedes-Benz launched the EQB electric SUV, but it’s already giving it some updates for the 2024 model year.

On the outside the 2024 EQB gets a new grille, which features the same black panel with stars like the rest of the Mercedes EQ models. The grille can feature either black or chrome stars. The front bumper has also been redesigned to emphasize the width of the EQB. At the rear the lights in the full width taillight have been updated. Lastly there are two new colors: Starling Blue and Cirrus Silver.

Inside the 10.25-inch touchscreen display runs the brand’s Zero Layer MBUX infotainment system. The system features wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, different display modes and an updated voice assistant. The optional Burmester audio system now adds Dolby Atmos. Mercedes also says that it’s improved the driver assistance systems with a new mono multi-purpose camera and a new backup camera.

To charge the EQB there’s “Plug & Charge” capability which allows you to simply plug in a charger without needing to use a smartphone app or your credit card.

The EQB continues to be offered in several versions, the EQB 250+, the EQB 300 4Matic and the EQB 350 4Matic. Buyers can continue to choose either the five or seven passenger version.
